Public Art is art open to the general public in an open area. It is free to view and can be seen by anyone.
Sited or staged in the physical public domain intentional planning for a specific purpose or commissioning. It has to be made out of a sustainable and weatherproof media so that it will last. Once the piece has been put up and finished it is therefore owned by the public.
